My Big Idea
Ok lets start:
So i want to take the iphone and look at it from a proffesional perspective. I want to have a company say WHY do i need an iphone?
Well deffinatly not to replace youe existing telecommunications because that would just be expensive. Though what if you could replace your security system with it?
The iphone has the software and hardware capabilities to do these next few things.
* Open a webpage
* Push to talk
*GPS via bluetooth
*Connect to a WIFI system
If you were to combine all thses things with a good interface on a secure network you would have:
“iSecure” the portable security network in your pocket. (At the bottem of this page you will find a explination to what the above list includes).
Basically a system that tells you where you are and where other security guards are in location to you, the abilty to speak and listen to every security guard on your network and obtain live feed from a secure site of the camera’s around you with an interface that allows you to manage these all in a single area on a single device.
As long as the Wifi network that connects everyone to is secure enough this allows you to have access to a security station from your iphone.

Most buissness use security companies to run survailence remotely on their premises. That is the cameras are on site but the feed is sent to the company where it is show on a secure site that the owner can view at anytime with play functions and the ability to switch to other cameras or view multiple cameras at a time.

Basically this allows you to use your phone as a walkie talkie. Allowing you to join a channel in a near by area or on a network.
GPS via bluetooth:
With Bluetooth GPS can be functional in the iphone as regular GPS cannot be obtained due to the limitations placed on it by apple inorder to increase battery life. Though through Bluetooth a localised GPS system can be created which is really all that is needed for this software.
GPS:This alows you to navigate yourself via satelite giving your exact location based on the device. If your device (iphone) could be entered into the gps a route can be calculated quickly on the fastest and shortest routes as well as monitoring your location. That way the location of all nearby personel can be seen.
WIFI:
Wireless Connection Protocol that allows devices such as the iphone to connect to wireless networks in the area allowing acess to files or to an internet connection. That allows the opening a webpage for example.
